When it comes to booking luxury ski chalets, the must have feature for many of our clients is a luxury chalet swimming pool. A swimming pool in your own private chalet provides luxury and convenience. To be able relax and unwind in the comfort of your own private alpine spa area and spectacular swimming pool after a hard day on the mountain is the pinnacle of perfection.
Here is our list of the Top 10 Luxury Chalet Swimming Pools in the Alps!
Verbier’s newest uber chalet is Chalet Marmottière and its safe to say that it is raising the bar when it comes to luxury chalets in Verbier. It features one of the longest pools in Verbier at 17m and benefits from floor to ceiling windows revealing beautiful views across the Verbier Valley. For more of an unexposed and intimate swim, there are privacy blinds that can be lowered.

Arguably one of the largest and best swimming pools in the mega chalet mecca that is Courchevel 1850 belongs to Chalet Black Pearl. The whole spa floor is vast, the pool is in the heart of it and is surrounded by a tanning booth, hot tub and a waterfall at the far end of the pool.

Chalet N, home to the best swimming pool of any luxury chalet in Lech. The vast pool reflects the beautiful silver ceiling and has massage seats in the corner to break up your swim. Surrounding the pool are comfortable lounges to relax with a drink or watch the kids splashing around. Undeniably an impressive swimming pool and the wellness facilities in this luxury chalet do not stop here with many more indulging facilities, including dual outdoor hot-tubs.

If size was all that mattered then the sheer length of Chalet Joux Plane’s swimming pool would take the title, but as we all know its not the size that matters, it’s what you do with it. The owners of Chalet Joux Plane wanted an indoor & outdoor pool, so what did they do? They built a colossal 23m pool that goes right through the chalet and all the way out to the outdoor hot tub. Complete with a bridge and massage jets, this pool takes a place for the innovative and unique design.

Chalet Alpaca is not short of entertainment facilities. The outdoor terrace is a place for relaxation and tranquility whilst surrounded by the peaks in Meribel. Tall trees outline the outdoor pool ensuring complete privacy as you swim lengths in the heated pool or relax in the copper hot tub. Whether you go for a day time swim or an evening dip, this pool will be sure to connect with your senses and allow you to recharge, switch off and unwind.

Home to one of the most impressive spa areas and swimming pools in Megeve and the whole of the Alps belongs to the iconic Chalet Mont Blanc. Featuring not one but two swimming pools Mont Blanc is the epitome of opulence. The outdoor pool is heated year round and has stunning views over towards the famous Mont d’Arbois while the indoor pool has a projector screen at the end if you fancy catching a movie whilst doing your lengths. Inset on the left of the pool is a bank of massage jets on a submerged bench.

Back to Lech we go for number 7, the pool of Chalet 1551 is a modern one piece work of art and a fine example of engineering at the highest level. At 10 metres it’s not the largest or longest pool but it is a real beauty. A great benefit of the pool is that the kids can play and splash about whilst the adults enjoy a warm glühwein or authentic Austrian craft beer in the hot tub…..the definition of perfection?

Chalet Chouqui since its completion has held the title of the largest swimming pool in Verbier. To this day it still remains the largest, however it is no longer the longest, just pipped by Chalet Marmottière by a couple of metres. The pool in Chouqui is wider and has a total of 90m2 of space, perfect for those games of water volleyball, or lengths, whichever tickles your fancy!

Home to one of the most jaw-dropping swimming pools in a luxury chalet is Grande Corniche in Les Gets. This outdoor infinity pool is heated to a toasty temperature so guests can enjoy the complimentary Perrier Jouët well into the night without catching a chill. The views from the pool are spectacular with the chalet sitting in the hills above Les Gets, giving uninterrupted views of the beautiful scenery across the valley.

It wouldn’t be a Top 10 luxury chalets swimming pool list without featuring one the benchmarks in the game, Chalet Marco Polo. Nestled alongside the Isère River, this chalet has arguably one of the most complete spa areas in luxury chalets in the Alps, coming with your own dedicated spa manager. The pool is special, not just the design and craftsmanship that’s gone into it, the pool is finished in nothing less than gold leaf…..a luxury chalet swimming pool at its finest!

From silver ceilings and gold leaf basins, to beautiful views and state-of-the art features, these luxury chalet swimming pools bring such variety that it would be unfair to choose a number one. However, if you have a favourite luxury chalet with swimming pool, we would love to hear your thoughts.
