Overview

Chalet Alpaca is a luxurious modern mountain home. The interior is spacious and light. The large floor to ceiling windows let in an abundance of natural light and the views of the valley offer the perfect back drop. Using a perfectly blended mixture of natural materials and modern bespoke design and furnishings the interior creates a welcoming, cohesive atmosphere; this is one of Méribel's largest and most beautiful private chalets.

Five Double bedrooms and a large bunk room accommodate up to 12 people. Each room has it's own individual design and style and is furnished to the same high standard with luxury linens and a spacious bathroom and has either its own balcony or terrace.

The entertaining spaces are set out over three spectacular floors. On the first floor, at the heart of the chalet is the magnificent, double height ceiling spacious living room and bar area, with open fireplace and full height windows flooding the room in the warm winter sunshine and offering breath-taking views of the mountains. There is an impressive dining area which makes for the perfect entertaining space and the separate kitchen allows you to enjoy meals in relaxed private surroundings. The living and dining areas both have access to the large terrace and south-facing garden which provides a sublime, tranquil setting. The extensive terraces and balconies that wrap around the chalet to reveal more of the breath-taking panorama.

Furnished as thoughtfully as the interior you can enjoy this amazing outdoor space by relaxing in the beautiful copper hot tub, swimming in the heated 'endless' pool or watching the glowing embers in the fire-pit.

Also, tucked away on this floor are three bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, beautiful views and private balconies.

The top floor is a haven of relaxation and tranquillity, home to the library, offering a cosy spot to relax and unwind with a good book in front of a roaring fire and the master bedroom suite. The stunning master suite has a wood burning stove, private balcony boosting panoramic views, spacious dressing room and plush en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has an exquisite copper bath with views to Saulire and a huge rain shower.

The upper ground floor of the chalet, has a fabulous cinema and games room, a spa with a hammam, sauna, rain shower and secluded massage room. The unique sports room is home to its very own indoor climbing wall. For guests wishing to keep in shape, there is a gym on the lower ground floor. In addition there is a children's bunk room, with separate bathroom and twin/double bedroom with en-suite shower room. These rooms can be closed off as a self-contained suite.

There is a self-contained staff flat, with separate access housing two chalet staff on the lower ground floor of the chalet.

Prices are based on exclusive occupancy of the chalet with full staff services including a professional chef, chalet manager, hosting/housekeeping team and an in-resort driver service. Food and drink is charged in addition, at cost price plus the local applicable VAT.

Located in one of Meribel's most exclusive and enviable locations, Chalet Alpaca sits in a favourable location above the resort and offers privacy, tranquility and spectacular views of the snow covered peaks. It is just a 5 minute chauffeured drive from the centre of Meribel and only 100 metres from the Doron piste.

Their breadth of experience allows them to develop tailored ski holidays to fit any luxury requirement. They want to ensure that your stay is as relaxing and comfortable as possible. With their extensive knowledge of the resort and the facilities it has to offer, the staff would be delighted to organise any additional services you may desire (extra charges apply) including but not limited to:

To complement the experience of staying in this amazing property they want to ensure that you will receive the highest standard of service tailored to your personal needs. The team of hospitality professionals, know and understand that luxury is defined by the experience that guests are seeking, and are well accustomed to blending and adapting to ensure that your stay is luxurious in every way.

When taken on a fully serviced basis you can expect a highly qualified professional chef to prepare daily breakfast, plus after-ski snacks and dinner on six days. The chefs will work with you, or your staff, to create the perfect menu for your stay, be it a detailed seven-course evening meal or something simple and healthy (food and wine are charged separately).

The wine list is provided by a renowned local cave.

A dedicated chauffeur and vehicle (Volkswagen Caravelle or similar) will be operating for you between the hours of 8:30am until 2am

The chalet manager and host(s) are at hand to pour morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings, and provide you with a concierge service during your stay. Daily cleaning is provided by the housekeepers. When staying on a self-catered basis you will be well looked after by a team of industry professionals as cleaning is provided six days of the week and linen and towels are provided, with towels changed mid-week. With this service, you are free to eat out in the evenings and take full advantage of the many fabulous in-resort restaurants.

Your expert concierge can arrange restaurant bookings, ski instruction, off-piste guides, heli-skiing, winter activities, and childcare at your request. As the concierge team are all highly qualified ski or snowboard instructors, they also have a wealth of knowledge about the mountain and prevailing weather conditions.
