Mont Tremblant, Meribel
Chalet Mont Tremblant is a fine example of a luxury chalet in Meribel that has a great central location. From the centre of Meribel, the chalet is just a short stroll away and should take no more than 8-10 minutes – the best part of the walk is that it is mainly flat so both ways are quite easy. The chalet itself is one of the finest chalets in Meribel and has also won awards at the World Ski Awards as the Best Luxury Chalet in France. The chalet is lovely inside and the bedrooms especially are divine, but who can ignore the outdoor pool and hot tub? I for one certainly can’t.
Chalet Opale, Tignes
Tignes Le Lac is the main resort out of the 5 that make up the resort of Tignes and this is where Chalet Opale is located. Just a few minutes walk into town you can find the lake, the modern sports complex and many bars, restaurants and shops. The majority of the luxury chalets in Tignes are located down in Les Brevieres but Chalet Opale has the prime position in Le Lac overlooking the lake. The chalet benefits from a large outside terrace which has awesome views over the lake and resort centre itself.
Chalet Deer, Megeve
There is a wide range of luxury central chalets in Megeve but when it comes to being in the heart of the resort, there is no better option than Chalet Deer. The property is directly in the centre of this picturesque resort right next the museum and also in close proximity to the tourist office. From Chalet Deer you are just a 3 minute walk from the Chamois ski lift. The chalet is over 500m2 of pure luxury, all the furnishings, fixtures and fitting are to the very highest of standards. If you are a Megeve town centre fan then you must consider a stay in Chalet Deer.
Chalet Dent Blanche, Verbier
As with Megeve there are not too many luxury chalets in the centre of Verbier but Chalet Dent Blanche is certainly one that is. The “Place Central” which most consider the centre of Verbier is only 2 minutes walk from the chalet with the Medran lift station being a few more minutes away. Most guests will still use the chauffeur service to transport them to the lift as 5 minutes in ski boots is not ideal first thing in the morning or after a long day on the slopes. Dent Blanche is spread over four floors and has stunning views out towards Le Chable, not to mention the stunning wellness area! We feel that Dent Blanche is undoubtedly Verbier’s best centrally located luxury chalet.
