The lounge is where the traditional chalet charm is most apparent, with a wall made from natural stones housing the crackling fireplace that bathes the room and its comfortable, brown leather sofas with warmth. A walk over the slick glass walkway, as you admire the beauty of the indoor courtyard garden that reaches up from the floor below, will bring you to the dining space complete with bar. Quirky artwork and interesting trinkets decorate the chalet, adding to its unusual but special appeal. The chalet sits just a 10 minute walk or 5 minutes' chauffeured driver away from central Val d'Isère, where guests can revel in the wide selection of luxury shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars.
For keen skiers, you can be on the pistes in a matter of moments. The snow front, Bellevarde and Solaise gondolas and ski school is an 8-10 minute walk away or just a couple of minutes with the driver service. Should you prefer to ski back into La Daille at the end of your ski day to make the most of the beginner-friendly skiing, then the driver can pick you up here and whisk you home in around 10 minutes.
