Chalet Julisam offers the ultimate ski retreat with breathtaking views and a warm, inviting atmosphere in Leogang. The facilities are amazing, but my favourite feature is the revolving sofa - the perfect place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the surrounding mountains.
All the superlatives fail to do Chalet Julisam justice; a modern luxury chalet in Leogang peerless in its offering. Welcoming groups of 10 guests, the 1,000m² masterpiece enjoys an abundance of features and facilities, from unbeatable spa facilities like its swimming pool and hot tubs, to entertainment features like its cinema room and outdoor playgrounds, the chalet is an unmissable experience worthy of only the most exclusive clientele.
Atop the highest floor of Chalet Julisam, a generous open-plan living space exemplifies the high-class luxury nature of Chalet Julisam. The design is sleek and minimalistic, featuring sumptuous furnishings and elegant golden features. In place of walls, the top floor features an incredible wraparound facade of floor-to-ceiling windows that deliver an exceptional panoramic view along the Leogang valley. A convivial, semicircle sofa sits upon a revolving circular platform, allowing you to fully embrace the epic views or position your group towards the harmonious melodies of the self-playing Yamaha grand piano. Gourmet meals will be indulged around the 10-seater dining table, beneath a glamorous golden cloud of petals that makes up the light fixture. Adjacent to the dining space is a spacious, state-of-the-art kitchen. The top floor opens onto an extensive balcony with alfresco dining areas and a sheltered overhang. Further outdoor living spaces can be found off the lower levels of Chalet Julisam, including a cosy terrace which features a firepit and the stunning contemporary sculptures of David Harber.
Across the lowest level, the chalet features an impressive spa area with an amazing number of facilities. The highlight is the 14m indoor swimming pool, with a gorgeous cascading water feature that flows from the ceiling. There are also indoor and outdoor hot tubs and a designer KLAFS sauna. Kids will enjoy playing amongst the water fountains streaming up from the floor, or interacting with the virtual aquarium. Chalet Julisam also includes fitness facilities, while an indoor bouldering wall offers a more unique spot to work out.
Outside, kids will delight with the many facilities on offer, including two outdoor playgrounds, a trampoline, small football pitch and sandpit. Naturally, on chillier winter days they might simply be too preoccupied with playing in the snowy garden areas to bother with all the facilities, and when things get too cold, a charming play room awaits inside. A luxurious cinema room offers the perfect home cinema experience for all guests, while games consoles and table football provide the option of some friendly competitions that can run late into the night.
Chalet Julisam houses five spacious double bedrooms on its middle level, providing the capacity to sleep up to 10 guests. The bedrooms are bright and elegant, with a plush contemporary style that oozes class. All five rooms feature an en-suite shower room, while one of the bedrooms also includes a stunning freestanding golden bathtub, perfectly situated in front of the windows and the captivating views that stretch as far as the eye can see. The bedrooms include many classy features to offer the perfect night's rest, such as blackout curtains, height-adjustable beds and sound-insulated doors.
For your convenience, Chalet Julisam has an interior elevator to all floors. There are 10 underground parking spaces available to guests, and a dedicated ski room for all your winter sports equipment.
Julisam also maintains completely CO2-free operations. Through photovoltaics and geothermal heat pumps, the chalet is able to generate its own power and heat throughout the season. Triple thermal insulation glazing makes sure that this heat is retained as much as possible. Julisam also contributes a small portion of the fee to a charity organisation that aims to help families who are less fortunate.
For larger groups of up to 20 guests, Chalet Julisam can be taken alongside its guest building as the Julisam Estate.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered with full staff services, including a private chef for breakfast lunch and dinner preparations, service staff, in-resort chauffeur and daily housekeeping. Food and drink charged in addition.
The chalet can also be booked on an accommodation only basis, where you can design an à la carte package as desired.

The Steinbergbahn gondola is located just a 7 minute drive away, or the Asitz gondola is 10 minutes away. Both options connect into the wider ski area and offer ski school and ski hire shops. The Schanteilift is your closest option just 6 minutes away which is a suitable nursery slope for beginners or the starting point for the snow walking trails. End your day by skiing down the Slope 213 to this point.
