From Chalet Vilaiet, it takes an approximate 7-minute drive to reach Ortisei's pretty village centre (roughly 3km away). There is a wonderful pedestrianised zone in the centre with plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants to explore, in addition to the oldest church in the Val Gardena valley (S. Giacomo Church) and Ladin museum for non-skiers to enjoy.
The St. Ulrich Seiser Alm gondola is situated on the other side of the village centre, for access to the Seiser Alm ski area. Guests can use the Tunnel La Curta, an underground pedestrianised elevator, for easy access across town from the Seceda cable car.

Chalet Vilaiet is located in an idyllic setting surrounded by nature, away from the hustle and bustle of village life. This incredible ski in ski out chalet sits at the edge of the red Ortisei Furnes piste to ensure guests maximise their time skiing in The Dolomites. From here, guests can ski down to the foot of the mountain, where you will find the Seceda cable car, which can take you back up to the Seceda ski area. There is a ski school located at the start of this gondola, or a handful of others more centrally located in the village centre, should you have any beginner skiers in your group.
