2016 hails the start of something quite special in Verbier<\/a>. All over the Alps, music festivals seem to be popping up – from Rock the Pistes<\/a> in Portes du Soleil<\/a>, to Zermatt Unplugged<\/a> in….well, Zermatt<\/a>. Now Verbier is the next to take on the challenge with its new festival, Verbier Impulse, on the weekends of 8th – 10th and 15th – 17th April.<\/p>\n

For its first year, Verbier Impulse<\/a> has certainly pulled out all the stops to make sure that there are plenty of varied and high-quality bands playing different venues all around resort. The\u00a0line-up is in the same format for both weekends; a group performing covers on the Friday, an international star on Saturday and then a Swiss star on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The resort has worked hard to build a fantastic snow stadium between Fontanets and Chalet Carlsberg – named the Attelas Arena. This stage will host the big name artists such as Cornish export Charlie Winston<\/a> (the French love him!), Scottish pop-rock band Texas<\/a> and Swiss pop band Mnemosyne<\/a> to name but a few.<\/p>\n
